Flight

Hi blogger for the past two weeks we have been doing science experiments on paper planes. It was fun getting to make and throw the paper planes instead of doing regular literacy stuff like essays and chapter summaries. Here is my science report:
Please leave a comment and let me know how to do better next time.

Magic Squares

This week during numeracy we have been working with magic squares. Magic squares are three by three squares where you put numbers in the smaller squares. Here is an example.

As you can see all the lines add up to the same number, this is what makes the square "magic"

Genius Poster

This term, my class is working on science during literacy time. This week we had to learn about, and make a poster of one of six scientists(Galileo, Mary Curie, Alfred Wegener, Edwin Hubble, Ernest Rutherford and Archimedes). The one that I chose was Ernest Rutherford I hope that you like my poster and leave me a comment.

weekly work post (week 10)

Hey bloggers! Unfortunately I was away for most of this week so, I only realy have yesterday to blog about. Here's what I did:

In maths I am working on algebra and, yesterday I had to workout this equation

I managed to work it out but I'll only tell you the answer if you work it out for yourself and tell me your answer in the comments. (remember to include the equation)

In literacy I'm creating a website about The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. here is the link to my site. It's not complete yet so please don't spam the comments section with complaints!šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Thank you for checking out this post I hope you find my work good(or at least okay). Don't forget to look at the rest of my posts and comment your thoughts below.

Atomic Ironic Comic

In inquiry we have been discussing global issues and irony. As a part of our irony learnings we had to create a short comic displaing one of three types of irony: situational which is when something is the opposite of what you expect.(like a retirement village that does dirt biking.) dramatic which is when you know something that someone else does not.(like in a movie where you know what the bad guy evil plan is but the hero does not.) and verbal which is when someone says the opposite of what they mean. try and guess which one my group used. The answer is (insert drum roll here) situational! did you get it? make sure tell me what you think and give me your example in the comments

WEEK 5 MASH-UP!!

Hey bloggers!! this post will be a combination of my maths work and my literacy work. this is a first for me but I hop I do all right. get it? got it? good.

Firstly in literacy one of my tasks was to right about a "legendary" place. That basically means that the place has to have come from something that might be true so I chose El Dorado. I found the task quite enjoyable. here is a screenshot of my work

Secondly for maths I learned how to program a site called Kaggel to do the maths for me. It was difficult to get started but after that it was easy here is a look at what you do
